This game has some major stuff going against it. First it's very expensive, second it's very short. That usually leads to bad reviews except in a very few cases, like Braid.

Some of these reviews throw some big words around when describing the game. Color me excited.

wow...even shorter than braid. i might have considered it at 800...but i think i will pass...it will go on sale eventually.

Why is game length proportional to the price you are willing to pay? Game length is not proportional to gam quality...

I mean, I understand if you don't like 2d platformers/puzzlers... but I'd personally pay more for Braid than I would for Alan Wake. One was 4-5 hours of pure bliss while the other was 10 hours of the same 5 minutes over and over. Thankfully I didn't have to pay more for Braid as I bought them both.

That Alan Wake DLC better be something new cause if I see that axe guy one more time...

the game is almost $20. i have a number of games in my collection that were around that cost or less and provided me with countless hours of enjoyment. this game will provide about 4 hours of enjoyment (if i like it and even if i do maybe i dont think every second of it is orgasmic like some of the reviews suggest[i didnt think braid was as good as some other people did{which was worth every penny i paid, since it was free}])

so...do i want the really nice hooker i get for the night(that might have an incurable STD) or do i take the nice hooker i get to keep for a few weeks(and probably doesnt have an STD and if she does its curable).
