well they didnt announce they would sell HD that fit into the new 360's, but yea u can always get flash drives for cheap. This arcade model still incldues the wifi, 5 usb ports, and kinect port w/ touch sensative buttons. Only difference is its matte instead of glossy and has no 250gb HD.

You get get a 4GB flash for $10 these days. So a 16GB flash would be around us $20. So convert it to euros a 16GB flash could be cheaper than 20 pounds.

I think the kinect bundle will sell huge since people would want a new 360 w/ kinect. otherwise, the HD is the only issue but must resort to flash drives.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

Yes the 4G is flash, yes you can attach a HDD into an empy slot.

its not a HDD its flash I believe - can you even get a 4GB HDD?  and I doubt you will be able to add a HDD??  can always add 16GB flash drives.

They said the HDD slot is still there and capable of adding an HDD.  They just haven't announced the new HDDs to go on sale yet as standalone for upgraders.

The thing is though everyone is still going to buy Move and Kinect anyways.  Sure it would be nice for people over seas if they could ban together and bring prices down but the fact is when the holidays hit and all their friends are getting the "cool new thing" that is Kinect and Move their going to beg their parents for one and people will buy it.

that starter pack is crap compared to the US one.  A camera and one controller...   no game, no demo disc.  And aside from what some sony fans say... you do need the nav and if you want two player you need a lot more.

I might wirte to the OFT.. how can they justify the differential in their own products??  (360S v kinect)

What did Wii launch at in UK?

i wouldn't say thats a for sure at all.  MS marketing is huge and not to mention the common consumer has ZERO idea they are being shafted on price.  Your average mom buying something for her kid during the holidays doesn't go on VGChartz and look at price differences between US and UK and go, well damn screw that I'm getting shafted.  I think MS still could easily take holidays but at the same time I won't be surprised in the least if Wii wins either.  Either way its def in no way shape or form a lock down for either of them.
