Poor wallet. I hope it'll forgive me.

Sales largest to smallest for my prediction:

Wii Party (15 Mil)

DKCR (7 Mil)

Epic Micky (5.5 Mil)

Kirby (4 Mil)

Goldeneye (3 Mil)

Metroid (2 Mil)

Pokemon (1 Mil)

Fling (700K)

I hope wii sells over 14M this year.  With those titles it shoudl easily do it,  each of them should sell over 1M.

Even if it didn't have those titles it should easily do it; it has sold 7.1 million through July 17.

Wii Party looks like Mario Party with the soul taken out of it. I don't think it will sell; I made the mistake of "Wii game = sell" with Wii Music and won't again. If it was a new Mario Party fully using motion control then I'd agree it would be a mega-hit.

I will agree with you that the part of the game that is meant to be like Mario Party seems to be some how lacking. But what has so many people so excited, and what will push this game to huge numbers, are all the other things this game can do.

So in America 3.5 Million Wii Sales seems fair?

For December? I would say around 2-3 million in America. They are not going to have the rocketing effect of a price cut 2d Mario going for them this time around (I'm pretty certain they won't be doing a price cut... but who knows?).

The biggest system seller from Nintendo will probably be Wii Party. I say this simply because Wii series games are always big system sellers. Even if this game seems like it attracts the same audience that already owns Wii, it will still be able to sell systems because it attracts new customers with fresh content.

Epic Mickey should also be a big system seller if it becomes a hit and critical success. It's new content that hasn't been seen on the other consoles and there is a massive fanbase for Disney that might not own a Wii yet.

Donkey Kong and Kirby might be minor system sellers, but something tells me anyone that wants these games already bought a Wii for New Super Mario Bros.

It's already tracking above Wii Music in Japan, and it's had much less lead-in hype and is being released in the Summer. I think it's safe to assume this will do well. People will always buy party games on Wii, especially one straight from Nintendo.

Ok Imagine this Price Cut to $149.99  with Wii Sports,Wii Sports Resort Wii Motion Plus and Wii Party

I think DKCR will sell about 8 - 12 million depending on how many NSMBWii lovers pick up the game and how many fans of the original trilogy have a Wii/willing to buy a Wii.  Kirby will sell about 2 million an Metroid anywhere from 2 - 3.5m all depending on how well it appeals to Japan.

This year NoE has brought us Jam with the Band and in September Last Window (both games I expected never to see a Western release), so I'm still holding out hope for a Xenoblade release in Q4 2010 or possibly Q1 2011

The only reason they bundled WSR was because they wanted motion-plus packaged. Nintendo must have a ton of motion plus games coming next year to be able to sacrifice the profits WSR would have made as a stand-alone product.

Nevertheless, I don't think they'll want to sacrifice the profits of Wii Party as well. They might bundle it with the pink/blue remote (as they did in Japan), but I'm very skeptical that they will change the current bundle that they have right now.

As for cutting the price further, I'm very wary of it. They need to maintain a healthy profit on the Wii and cutting the price too low may cause them to run into limited stock issues. Even the price cut back in October of last year seemed to be too hastily decided as they were then selling out in December, January, and February.

The price should remain at 200 for now, with perhaps special bundle deals being proposed by retailers (as this is what happened last season). I can also imagine them taking out Wii Sports Resort (but keeping motion plus) and subtracting the price to $160.

I think Wii Party will be epic.  Another 10-20m seller.   It is a system seller and aside from GT5 probably the only true system seller coming out this year.   Not because it's a mini-game fest, but because Nintendo understands fun and this will be a really fun game for everyone, kids, grandparents and gamers alike.

Kirby, Metroid, DKCR will all sell solidly, like previous versions in their respective series.  IE: MoM 1-2m, K:EY - 2-5m, DKCR 3-6m

Pokepark will sell mostly to children but should be good for 1-2m

FlingSmash?  Unless it's promoted heavily, will fly under everyone's radar and would be lucky to hit 500k

Why will it be a system seller?

Because like Wii Sports, it's the type of title that people will play at their friend/cousin's/grandkids house, love and want to buy a Wii to play themselves.

That's the keyword here :)

Why will pepole who weren't interested in the Wii so far, will suddenly be interested just because of Wii Party?

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I already have two pre-ordered (Kirby and PokePark). The more I learn, the more I want to pre-order Wii Party. Fling Smash will be mine Day 1 at the right price. DKC and Other M will be gotten too -- probably a bit later.
