Maybe they just find it hard to contribute anything because everyone has said everything. I know that's happened to me in the past. Lurkers also mostly seem like townsfolk that feel they aren't importaint so they don't contribute as much....

From what I've observed, there's a good chance of someone that lurks or who makes mostly off-topic posts being scum. I'm all for lynching someone who doesn't post after this day has gone on long enough.

Maybe all the people who quote four-deep should be lynched. No, not really. It's just something that annoys me on VGC in general.

I agree with what you say; the proportion of lurkers who are Mafia are usually higher than the general population. In any case even Town lurkers spoil a game - how can we analyse you if there's nothing to analyse? But giving them a lot of chances first is the best idea; letting the mod deal with it is probably fairer. Lynching someone who doesn't talk back is no fun at all, even if it's the right choice.

Thats crazy ! Not everyone is glued to their PC's 24/7. A better idea would be to check their profiles to see if they were online and hadn't said anything.
