Because it's teh best console EVA!!!

Crackdown sees a decent opening. PS3 within only 8k of the Wii and 360 numbers dip before next week, when they could reach over 100k.

Surprising Crackdown numbers considering not so favourable reviews. Also where are the Xbox numbers? Slim is already selling over here, yet there is zero increase.

PS2 still gets sales because of the sheer volume of software. I know I am about ready to buy another PS2 for backup, in case my now ancient PS2 dies, before it completely fades away and hardware becomes hard to get. With no BC on the PS3 having a PS2 is a necessity.

The numbers you are seeing are for the 10th of July...slim doesn't release until the 16th
