If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

So what does 88% up from May translate to in actual numbers?

It should be YoY because that's more logical and interesting to compare, but knowing industry ppl such as Greenberg who is a spin-master like the rest, it's obviously MoM sadly.

Honestly, don't think he'd brag if it was an 88% month over month increase given that June was 25% longer than May - five weeks instead of four. Not really that impressive given a clearance sale and Slim. PS3 effectively tripled from July 2009 (at $400) to September 2009 with its real price cut and Slim in effect on a weekly basis (30k to 92k per week). For X360, with only the clearance sale, you'd expect a similar bump but over a shorter period. So its likely year over year - which would be more than double May.
