The Wii has finally passed 15M units this week, with the Xbox 360 tailing with almost 14M and the PS3 way behind with a little over 6M. The DS is also leaving the PSP further in its wake with almost 60M units sold, compared to 27M PSPs. Well done Nintendo

Congrats Nintendo; no one expected this turn around in the market during the PS2's height. Will be interesting to see what this picture looks like in 3 years.

If sales stay on high then I think about mid 2009 is a good estimate. Been averaging about 25-30 million a year in shipments so mid 2009 is a pretty good estimate as long as things stay alright. Somehow I don't think Nintenod is looking to release a new handheld in the near future to prevent that.
