OORAY... wait, a remake?

Aww. Slight disappointment.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the fact that there is a new Star Fox coming... but I already own this game, albeit in a less shiny high-quality 3D format.

I think Nintendo ought to think along the lines of new product for Star Fox. Heck, I wouldn't even mind a Command 2.

Am i reading this right? Are you for real? 3DS HAS THE SAME GRAPHICS AS DS? HAVE YOU GOT EYES? Have you even looked at the screenshots for the upcoming 3DS games?  There's a WORLD  of difference between the graphical capabilities of both.

im not acting like most kids my age -.- my problem with the wii is that most of its first party games are way to childish for my likeing (that is my opinion before you start going all crazy) where as the ps3 (and even the 360) have a line up of games that can apeal to just about anyone. the wii's line up of 3rd party games (that dot involve nintendo) are very bad. i think they said at e3 somthing about some dance game and how it was the best selling 3rd part wii game. i checked and it had sold around 2 million..... to be honest that aint great for an install base the wii's size. i mean the ps3 has an install base a 3rd of that and it can ealy trump 2 million 10 times over.

You understand that you are proving his point right now right? Because I'm not exactly young and I find Nintendo games to appeal to the masses much more than core HD console games in general when I pay attention to the people surrounding me(and I'm not talking about family and all that, I go around quiet a bit lol.) Wii also has some good 3rd party games, just buried under all the shovelware.

It's easy to judge without playing them.Wii has tons of great games, and a lot of them are not 1st party.

BTW..."games that can apeal to just about anyone" on PS3 or 360? Are you crazy?... you think "anyone" is hardcore gamers?

yeah but still by the time Sony complete the psp2 with all those features,the 3ds will already be available so it doesnt matter.

Little big planet, ratchet and clank there just 2 easy to think of. i have played plenty of wii games iyoused to own one
. super mario galaxy was just about the only game i like thought i got bord quickly cos im a hater of games with bad story. yes i know mario aint suposed to have one but that prob why i dont like it. i didnt mind it in lbp cos the whole point was to make your own story :P

I really hope that Sony comes out with a new PSP that actually captures people's attention. But sadly, its probably not going to happen. 

It doesn't matter what Sony does to combat the 3DS, it will not overtake Nintendo in the handheld space.  A good portion of handheld games are to children.  Nintendo owns that portion of the market.  Mario and company are the perfect fit for handheld games, Sony just doesn't have anything to compete with that. 

Sony did a fantastic job of shoe horning a PS2 quality experience into a handheld.  The biggest problem with the PSP (Besides needing a second analog stick) was that most of the games I wanted were not made to be played in small doses...Which is what I personally want out of a handheld game.  If I'm looking to put in a marathon gaming session, I would much rather do it on my television.  If Sony truly wants to succeed in the handheld gaming arena they need to make their next handheld feel like a different experience then their console.  Just my two cents. 

As long as it's a great handheld for gamers then that's all that matters to me.
