I recently purchased Uncharted 2 and I am having troubles going online. After a really long wait I get an error message - 'Error synching models'. Is this a known error and if so what can I do?

Are you using an ethernet cable or wireless? do you have the same problem while playing other online games?

I used to have the same problem because my ps3 was in my room far from the wireless router, so I moved it near the router while still using wireless and now it's fine but I still recommend using ethernet for better connection.

Wireless but problem only for uncharted 2 :(

That Auto-Sync in Uncharted 2 is the devil. I would try wiring it as it is kind of fragile.

That happens to me, sometimes it works, othertimes it doesn't :( I hope they have a much more consistent and faster match making with uncharted 3.

it was a problem a day or two ago for everyone ND was fixing something after the 2x cash week it should work fine now

if it still doesnt work delete all the U2 game utiltys from the XMb then reinstall

never heard about wireless causing anything i run my ps3 wireless i get the same performance as i do wired so i left it wireless i get 100% signal strength i use netgear router it only cost 40$ its a wnr1000 model

First time u go online it will take u alot of time (downloading online patches)

Also Uncharted 2 online seems to hate wireless connections

Yes got all the patches - took a long wait. Don't understand the wifi hate though :(

Yeah i know, i too started Uncharted 2 online last week

I got that error alot until i finally logged in, it take less times after that

But while playing my character tend to freeze for a few second every once in a while (at the worst moment possible)

Let me add u on PSN maybe we can play together sometime :)

Same here dude. A couple nights ago I got 7 "error syncing player models" in a row.
