Very nice! Ignore non-constructive critics and keep 'em coming! :)

Where's the punchline?

Why so much text?

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

The punch line was at the end. Unfortunately, it wasn't too great, because I really wasn't sure how to end the comic. And compared to my first couple of comics, this one does not have that much text.

Well, I know that my humour and writing is not perfect, but I really wasn't too sure about how to approach this issue. I made several alternations while making this, but I still didn't quite get it the way I wanted it.

My suggestion would be to have the interviewers ask questions to an increasingly annoyed Reggie. Only at the last one does he respond with some out rage. Then try to condense the Reggie and Iwata conversation down to one panel if you can. it gets rid of some of the redundancy while still having the same net effect. You could also probably trim the interviewer dialogue down a little bit.

So - here's my advice:

If you see that your punchline has nothing to do with what the comic is about, try and come up with something that goes with what the punchline is :P

You know, that was sort of what I originally had in mind. But than I had several different ideas, that I really couldn't decide what to do. I made several alternations while making this comic, and in the end, I was still not quite satisfied. I will try to do a better job on the next one however.

Well, I didn't really know how to end the comic during the interview scene, so I decided to put in the part with Reggie and Iwata instead.

You're comics are good... it's just that it was too long-winded.

The interview scene was too much, what you could've done is have one big panel with all 3 just spouting the retarded questions, with Reggie looking annoyed. Like:

Interviewers #1: "Hey Reggies! All this stuff is great... but where's Wii HD?"
# 2: "Are you scared of the Iphone!?'
# 3: "Where the blood, man!! All your games make me wanna hug something! But I wanna chop shoot and punch!" *while punching the air*

And then, you could've ended the comic with the last two slides.

There, a nice lil' comic in 3 slides with all the content.

Edit - You could've given iwata a funny Japanese accent

Yes, that is probably the way I should have made this. I had several different ideas for this comic, but I guess I just couldn't decide what to do. In one respect though, it isn't too bad to have comics that are a little bit lengthy, since I can't post these frequently.

Reggie doesn't look anything like that.

IMO it's still too preachy and unfunny.

Well, I'm not perfect at drawing people, and I don't see how this is preaching.

Of course it is, and the only people that are going to compliment you are going to A) have an easily satisfied sense of humour and/or B) be nintendo fans. (no I don't think all Nintendo fans have a bad sense of humour before someone twists this, just that this ISN'T actually funny.

This is purely made to massage nintendo fans ego's ... and you know it.

Also you've made Reggie look mildly attractive, stark contrast to real life.

That said, I like your drawing ability, you're very good!!

I think it's pretty funny.. and yes I'm a Nintendo fan, but that doesn't mean I can't think with an unbiased perspective :P

The essence of humor is really taking something with some truth to it and poking fun at it, and I think this comic does that quite nicely, regardless if it favors Nintendo or not.
