So you don't like ideas like netflix? Subscribe for a while, own all the movies, when the subscription runs out, then the movies go with it.  Its the same idea that is being employed here.  The games you buy with the subscription, which usually means discounts etc., are yours to keep.  In addition, all addons, premium themes etc are yours to keep.  I've been seeing complaints like yours all over the internet and after reading up a bit about the service, it started to irk me.  I don't mean to chastise you, I hope it didn't sound like that.  Just getting it off my chest.

Only one, and that one is from this forum. Not a single one of the 15-20 of my friends in real life that has a PS3 has even heard of PSN . Besides the little box in the "What's New" section, I haven't seen or heard anything about it. Hopefully more people subscribe when/if they advertise.

Four or five. All from VGC; nobody I know in real life has so much as heard of PlayStation Plus.

Only 2 out of about 50

1:25 ratio is kinda low.

2 out of 50 though I know more are considering it. I personally have no interest in it.

4 out of 59 of my friends have PlayStation Plus.

So aside from the people on sites like VGChartz, I'm guessing PSN isn't too huge of a hit...

It's available for 1 week now, and so far it seem that about 10%  of everyones friendsliste here on vgchartz has psn plus.

and till now psn plus doesn't offer alot for the typical vgchartz nerd, because most of them already got the games

and lets face it we are nerds , not the casual customer  , and we know what's happening in the world of gaming but the normal customer doesn't so the probably haven't heard about it
