Just the boosters, glitchers, and the knifing.

I've never had much interest in the Call of Duty series, preferring other IPs instead, but everything I've heard about Modern Warfare 2 (from the actual players, not the reviewers and whatnot) tells me I should stay far, far away.

I probably shouldn't say anything since I haven't played it for more than an hour or so, but how did a game like this win so many awards?  It's like GTAIV all over again.

Biggest problem?

I have too many games to spend 300 hours on that one... i'm only at lvl 25, with half assed perks and sucky weapons...

I much prefer CS type games where you don't need to suck it for hours on end before you can actually play the full game...

For me it's the ridiculous perks or add ons that people people can get a hold of and how easy it is to use them.

Out of all my games MW2 is the least played with just under 9 hours for online play since March (yes I got this in March.. more fool me)

I can deal with campers, knifers, boosters but these airstrikes and helicoptors just take the fun out of the game, as soon as I here a machine gun buzz in the air I'll stay inside a building until they go away, so my choice is either instant death or waiting inside and doing nothing, which to me is pointless.

Does this game have any ranked matches without perks?

There is a Perk 1 that lets you change classes mid-game (without dying).  He is using it to switch to another class that has a grenade launcher (fully loaded, since it's a new loadout).  Repeat ad nauseam.
