Because the game was sold out. I read that they had to order more copies b/c the first shipment was sold out....

If that is true, is obvios that the sales are going to be low for a week, but if they get an extra shipment, sales can go up the following week.

Plus, there are plenty of examples of games that sell better on the following week.... you can check that on the website

To be honest, I think those games while mostly appeal to those wo already own a Wii, just like Mario Galaxy did barely something for the hardware sales.

I think the marketing, but also the hype, started a little bit to  late for Xenoblade.

Well it was an 2D Mario =).  Something didn't had...

The Wii just need new IP's a lot of them.  



 

I notice Wii is closer to PSP than PS3 again.  MOMENTUM!
