I think it could be fun, much like the Wii this would be something to 'turn on' during a party, instead of having to turn off when more than 4 friends come over. 

It's disappointing that there's so many people here not willing to give it half a chance.  If it's not unconfirmed list prices, it's lag on unfinished games, or multiplayer limitations on games better suited for a controller, or not being able to sit down...yet.  Wish we could just wait for the damn thing to come out first. 

Anyway, as usual, popular opinion on vgchartz is the minority of the mass market.  I bet JRPG's would come out trumps in a poll of best genre here.

That's a good thing, since, as the majority on vgc knows, the majority of the world is stoopid, hence being part of a minority in the real world is good.

No it's not and the sooner a large number of "gamers" on this site learn that, the better this place will be.

Until Microsoft publically state the $149 price then it isn't confirmed either.


I think that the online store thing pretty much confirms that price, unless that side of the department didn't get the memo lol

Can I just ask a hypothetical question?  If everyone is convinced that the price is $149 and Microsoft announced a price of say $99 at a later date, what sort of impact would that have in the gaming press?  My expectation is the impact would be huge and garner a lot more attention.

The above is the reason I'm waiting for an official announcement.  We accuse all companies of viral marketing often enough these days yet say it's impossible this could be just that, I find that rather silly imo.

Yes I would be more excited for it. That is something I hope happens actually.

Not that I am try to downplay your interest-- but Your Shape has already been a Wii game for quite a while now.  Why is this new version really that impressive?

I know. When she removed her jacket, the camera registered everything. That's actually the only thing that impressed me.

Anyways, I'm not buying Kinect without a bundle. It would be useless at this price.

There are ways to do a mocking post, like you reference it, and you change the words.  One can also reference the original post, and say, "Gee, I wonder if Kinect has any buzz behind it.  Someone asked this about Move".  One can also do outright spoofs of it als. 

What I am stunned is actually my post had THAT much juice they felt a need to mock it.  Did it actually hit home?  My post came from wondering why there is a lot of ranting and raving about Kinect, but I didn't see much regarding Move.

In regards to the question I posed regarding Move, in regards to Kinect, I am kinda pumped and want to try it, but I don't have room for it where I am at all.

Oh well, looks like the originator of THIS mocking most happened to get banned for doing it.  From my end, I do plan another post asking if Kinect will be a gateway into regular gaming for casual gamers.

You mean to be a shill for the Sony Defense Force, or even more partisan and single focused than that?  I guess I should be honored someone singled me out to spoof in a thread.  By the way, I am not opposed to a Ban there.  I have to admit I also have gotten warnings from time to time.
