I need an anime to watch, but before you automatically reccomend your favorites, I'd like to watch something that takes a realistic world, and puts a spin on in.... somwhere in the vein of Death Note, Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist or Darker than Black... I liked all 4 of these the most and can't seem to find another I can attach to... Please help!

I've seen and liked:

-FMA
-Death Note
-Elfen Lied
-Trigun
-Code Geass
-Soul Eater
-Darker than Black
-Hellsing (+OVA's)
-One Piece (Dont ask)

Not interested in:

-gurren lagann
-naruto
-inuyasha
-eureka 7
-Animes that are older 2000 + please :)

Baccano! and Durarara! both take realistic worlds and give it a twist and I love both series.  Both are still subtitled though, just as a warning if that's a deal killer for you.

Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.  Just curious, what about Naruto turned you off that wasn't in One Piece or Soul Eater?  Also, you should check out a site called anime vice.  It's pretty good and they have a lot of lists and thread about recommendations.

Bleach....

Baccano is about immortals living in the 20's and their infighting.  Durarara is about the crazy happenings in a district of Tokyo.  They're both really hard to explain, I suggest you just wiki them.

Monster it is in the same vain as Deathnote actually. And how can you not be interested in Gurren Lagann?

Thanks for the suggestions!
Naruto always got alot of hate, and while One piece also got it, It seemed so original, so I started to watch it and it just stuck to me somehow, ended up watching right up to where they are now... Soul Eater was shown to me by a friend, and I really like the writing and the style of animation.

I may watch Naruto one day, but something about it just seems too strange (the again, if one piece isn't strange I'll eat my invisable forum hat....) In short, I don't lnow why :P

I'll admit, its actually hilarious... however, It was too funny, not enough story... at least from the first few episodes... It just never drew me in enough for me to like it and watch the full thing.... Sorry :P
