he didn't skate around it, he straight out said "yes" you can play with just 1 controller. just hold down "T" to toggle between sword/shield...O.o I don't see that as skating around it...

 

He did finally answer the question. He kept skating around it in the beginning by trying to change the subject back to the game with the 2 wand scheme.

The interviewer wanted detail and had to ask several times before he explained how it would work.


yes he confirmed that only 1 controller would be needed

and he wasn't trying to change the subject but to show the demo

That's great, but how many Wii games can you really get away with multiplayer with just one controller? Wii Sports Bowling and Warioware Smooth Moves are the only ones I can think of. Part of the Wii's appeal is tons of great games that allow you to play multiplayer with 4 players simultaneously, which is something gaming sadly seems to be turning away from.

whoever has that many friends who wanna be cramped into such a tiny space whilst playing that needs to get out and about, this whol wii baiting is getting out of hand, oh wait mods do it as well, i guess i am doomed having 8 player or four player support is not a definitive issue having enough for 2 will ensure the ps move's sucess, just admit  it wii boys you are afraid....
