its been confirmed today that GT5 has a weather system, track editor and go karts! seriously i think this is going to be the best selling in the series even beating GT3 sales of 14 million plus!

I believe that Reach will outsell GT5 .... in the US

I realize I was wrong with the multiplayer. I just played online with a friend one time on Firefight mode and found it very fun and thought there was more to it than that.

But the thing about banning for saying something like that.....that was a shot at the mods, because I got banned for saying "not reserved" in a thread, and because it "didn't contribute to the thread" I was banned, hence the *catch this*.

Yet this notion of "PS3 isn't as popular as PS2, so GT5 won't outsell Halo" is just as much of a non-contribution, because #1, the highest selling GT was released when the PS2 had LESS units sold than what the PS3 has now, so that completely destroys this argument. Along with a first GT of the gen always selling extremely high, and better than the sequel. It's just a bogus statement that does nothing but incite page long responses proving it wrong completely, yet it's been repeated SO many times in this thread. It doesn't further discussion if every 6 -7 posts, someone says "GT5 won't do what we're predicting because PS3 hasn't sold 130M consoles, but PS2 has", when the argument in terms of sales for the series has proven the opposite side of the argument. Not furthering discussion -> not contributing to thread -> ban if the mods want to stay consistent in their reasons for banning people.

But at the end of the day, that part of the post was just a joke ;)

i predicted that possability long long ago.

So i have skimmed many posts and looks like ignorance towards GT is as strong as ever on here.  Prologue is nearing 5 million, and some are predicting that for the full GT release... haha hahah hahahahahhahaha.

Lets just think.  Yamagichi has managed to partner GT5 up with these little known brands.

Both should sell very well but I think in the end total lifetime sales...

 G.T.5 will sell more consoles but Halo Reach will get more total sales as shooters have taken over P.S.3 and 360 as well as people forget that Sony isn't at the top anymore.

Oh man, this is becoming intense ! And yes, I do believe GT5 could outsell Halo : Reach.
