Geoff - Coming out November 4th, you're not saying anything about the price on it right now, right?

Don - We think we wanna get more coverage (joke)

Geoff - *Laughs*

Don - "and ah"

Geoff - "you know the price right now?"

Don - "I know the price *smiles* and I know I'll get another chance to speak to you about the price .. which is always good."

Geoff - "When is that gonna happen then?, people are trying to save their allowance!"

Don - "Sometime between today and launch we will have that press event"

Geoff - "ok"

Don - "and I'll make sure that I get it on your calendar"

Geoff - "ok, are we gonna like the price though?"

Don - "uhhh, I think you are gonna .."really" like the price"

Geoff - "are we gonna be surprised at how low it is?"

Don - "uh, we sat through the other competitors press breifings and people were very please with our position, I like being with Microsoft this holiday."

Oh man. If they undercut Move, I will laugh my head off.

I think the internet would die if that happened.

I think they Should too they have the Money to do it so why not!

This is great news! It's definately not over $100 then.

Maybe $79? I hope so.

Of course they're gonna undercut the Move, the Move is $350 for four complete controller sets and a camera.

Honestly, that they're could mean anything, we don't know how he's looking at it.

If it comes out at the price point that all media outlets and retailers are reporting right now, it will have problems.

If it comes out at a price point equivalent to Move (the $100 bundle), it will do OK.

If it substantially less than Move, someone may call for a "price dumping" investigation.

I am at this point more apt to believe the people who have to sell it who are saying $150 than I am a person from the company.  That being said, I would not be surprised to see the price revised slightly downward, but not less than $100. ($120 actually makes sense since that would be less than a single-person full Move set up.

He didn't come out with the bog standard "we're offering a great value for this product, blah blah blah" He spoke of the competition in delight.
