Well, saying that the visual style of TP > SS, is a matter of preference, but I think it's pretty much a fact, that the engine that the Skyward Sword is running on, is far superior in comparison to the engine Twilight Princess ran on.

Besides, if Nintendo is going to spend an extra 6 or more months just tweaking the graphics, then the graphics are bound to be far better than they are at the moment.

Now, I'm not saying that Nintendo will give it a complete graphical overhaul, but the blurry backgrounds will most probably get fixed, etc. If you're not a fan of the colorful visual direction, that the game has taken, then you'll inevitably be disappointed. But I really hope that the game's visuals grow into you, since you hyped the game so much before E3.

I remember a lot of similar opinions when WW was announced... EGM editors going crazy with "THIS IS NOT MY ZELDA!". After that... the game still ha sone of the most memorable graphical styles in the history of gaming.

Time will tell who's right or wrong... again.

I liked the art in Twilight Princess more than what I've seen of Skyward Sword but...

I think you need to see a painting of Cézanne, the game and his paintings look nothing alike. He just said they were inspired by Cézanne while "making" the sky in Zelda: SS 

Cézanne was an art genius when it came to painting the sky, he wants to make it seem like its moving. It honestly isn't a bad thing if Nintendo is inspired by Cézanne for "making" the sky.
