how come it wasn't too late for the ps3

PS3 only weak point was the price. After the $299 price cut things were better for Sony. The PSP is at $170, 40 bukcs more than the DS and 10 cheaper than the DS XL. PSPGo is a lost cause.

Because the PS3 never did sell poorly world wide on a monthly basis, it's on par with the 360 sales line, 360 just came out a year earlier.

Why sony are still trying with the PSP when the 3DS is comming out is beyond me.

They should just bring out a new handheld as soon as possible

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

because the PSP is advanced and offers a great gaming experience, why kill it? It still has potential..

btw.. I think it would be smart to wait until the 3DS craze dies down a bit, and then before it could really take off announce and release a PSphone

I think that kid is PSP's Kevin Buttler

But he doesn't have charm, or is funny, well, with the massive ads expect psp to hit 20k in americas next week

well PSP is selling about as well as 360 world wide so..

ps3 was never on par with the 360 line, it was under it when it was $599, but went quickly above it when it hit $399, then $299 just set it up to a new level

The PS3 needed a price drop

The PSP needs to be put to sleep. It feels outdated. With everything being touchscreened ,  it feels weird using a PSP. It's over, I know it, the media knows, yet Sony doesnt see it.
