Article notes that one of the short 3DS demos at E3 was NSMB, could Nintendo be working on NSMB 3DS (The name would fit well, considering it would be the 3rd NSMB game)?

Rumors indicate that it is planning on following the first approach, sticking a new, motion-sensitive controller onto an existing console. Our perspective is that this is the worst of the three options.

It would be nice to see another New Super Mario Bros and I would be surprised if 3DS did not have a NSMB game at some point.

I'm pretty sure they will make one, seeing as the last two both sold over 10 million. I hope the difficulty is more like the Wii one than the first DS game though. If there's no 3DS VC I also hope that All Stars World gets released on it.

Yeah I think 3DS will get a 2D and 3D Mario at some point in the future

I believe Sunshine will launch first... in the same way Mario 64 DS did, with lots of improvements.

Miyamoto already said he is making a NSMB for 3DS, I'm positively sure it will happen and a mario sunshien port it likely too.

Source? Giving me false hope about another 2D Mario made by Miyamoto is very dangerous. I warn you, I have killed people for less. This will ultimately set the deadline for when I have to get a 3DS.
