Forums - Microsoft Discussion - M$ core exclusives at E3. What to look forward to.

The only thing that remotely interested me on the 360 is Gears 3. Everything else is growing tiresome. Just had to say. Sony and Nintendo's games appealed more to the gamer in me than Microsoft this year.

Is the gamer in you a member of this board? I just wanted ask him, you know when you're both not too busy.

Tease.

Um... Fable III is not exclusive, though I will still get the game

Gears 3 looks amazing, of course

Halo Reach, I don't care about the gunplay, but I want space combat {where is my Star Wars Battlefront III Lucasarts!}

Project Kingdom does look awesome though, but it is just a CGI trailer

I'll probably get Crackdown 2, I have Crackdown in my collection I just need to get around to playing it

The issue is, this is basically the line-up for some time, where are the first party studios? Why is Rare making Kinect games?

Sometime?

All these titles release before April 2011. M$ only showed titles coming within 9 months this E3. Dont worry at all. M$ have plently more after the next 9 months.

They will obviously show them later. They didnt have any further time.

But yeah, you can add Hydrophia and Hydro Thunder Hurricane to that to. Plus exclusive COD DLC for 3 years.

M$ certainly has the core audience covered over the next 9 months. As well as working on Kinect stuff for the casual. They have been busy.

That is extremely unlikely, unless you've heard something about the Crytek game I haven't.  They're releasing Crysis 2 at the very end of this year, though it may get delayed to 2011 -- having another game out less than 6 months later, which we know nothing about 10 months ahead of time, is hard to believe.  Are they going to start hyping the new game right before Crysis 2 releases?

I was really dissapointed in the real lack of surprise titles announced at the conference, which as you said could mean that over the next 9 or 10 months we're only getting Halo, Fable, and Gears -- though all of them look great!

XBLA also looks epic this year.

Oh, and has anyone seen Kingdom Under Fire 2?  Can't wait for that.

Halo, Fable, Gears would make sense for Microsoft to give a long window to...they're the three biggest franchises Microsoft has (I agree with you on how they look too). Codename: Kingdoms has no shot of coming out before April 2011. In fact, I think the next time we see that game will either be X11 (if there is one) or E3 next year.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

You forgot Rage from ID Software for the PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. Also, I think a lot of people are looking forward to Fable 3 due to the change in gameplay from the previous. I am excited over Fable 3 being divided into 2 episodes of overthrowing the king and ruling as king with a bit of simulation/real time stategy mixed in when you decide to go to war.

There must be some significant changes especially when you become king as they've shown absolutely nothing from the second half of the game. I suspect we'll see something at Gamescom, and it's this part of the game that will feature Kinect integration.

besides Gears of War 3 and Kingdoms there's nothing that interests me on that list.

i've lost interest in Crackdown 2 and First Templar had really weak demo on E3 from what i saw(looks VERY linear).

right now i'm waiting for

Death to Spies 3,

Gray Matter,

Sniper Ghost Warrior,

Gears of War 3,

Kingdoms,

Mechwarrior,

Kingdom Under Fire 2,

Hydrophobia,

Ilomilo,

Dead Rising Case Zero,

Puzzle Quest 2,

if we're talking about exclusive 360 games.

Xcom looked good.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it   ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.

I am so pumped for Kingdoms and The First Templar. And Fable III of course.

I think I am going to sell my Xbox

Up until now I have prefered my PS3 over my 360 but there have been some really kick ass games that have kept me from getting rid of it. I am kind of disappointed that Microsoft has reduced Rare to some kind of casual games factory as I loved Banjo (Viva Pinata and Kameo were all right).

Gears 1 was one of my favorite games of all time but 2 was a major disappointment aside from the singleplayer, which I don't really give a shit about. The only game that I am mildly interested in on this list is gears 3 and then I don't even know if Cliff might fuck it up again like he did the second one.

I only like singleplayer for FPS and Halo's singleplayer is all right but it is clear that the majority of their focus goes into multiplayer.

I find the Fable games to be boring as they have a bunch of gameplay systems but no real depth to any of them

I think this line-up is kind of disappointing and it shows how Microsoft has shifted their focus into ensuring that Kinect is a success. While I have no interest in Kinect and I think it will be a massive failure amongst core gamers, i think that it will be a success in the same vein as the wii, which is kind of disappointing as that may mean the death of the 360 in my eyes.
