Kinect can't be used well sitting down. Not even for menu's in movies.

Standing Room Only
Right now, Kinect only works when you stand. This includes menu navigation. All the cool options to grab a slider and advance through frames of a movie you are watching only work when you are on your feet. Kinect, we've been told, has problems handling your skeletal frame while sitting. The voice commands still work, but every game we've seen and even simple menu navigation have to be done with you out of your seat. That's not exactly how I want to watch my movies. If the focus for Kinect is creating games like Dance Central that naturally would require you to be off your couch, that's great. But I have to say, no one thinks "I am driving a car!" while standing up in their living room.

hmm. that's something they are working on no doubt to fix. that's quite a problem, this is the first i heard about this.I wonder if your further back from the camera if that is what it would require. right now for that to work.

that would explain that "over so many feet away" from the Camera in order for it to work properly info we heard a while back

Move will probably sell more because you have to buy multiple controllers if you want multiplayer. With kinect you only need one devise for everyone. But in all honesty I think both will do as well as the pspgo.

i think that kinect will easily win IF the price is under 100$  if its 150.00 like some suggest than i see no reason to buy it over the move

I have to say Kinect.

Not because I think it's better, but because people will buy it based on what they imagine it COULD do more than on what it CAN actually do.

The Wii told us that, people were expecting to be in the game and feel like they are controling characters 1:1 (I can't count how many times I've heard about laser saber duel on the wii, which when you think about is pretty unrealistic...) so they bought Wii. They'll buy Kinect for the same reason, and will be disappointed the same way.

Don't get me wrong, Wii has some great gameplay mechanics, just not the one people were IMO expecting. And the Kinect may have some great gameplay mechanics, just not the one advertised or expected.

I think Kinect will sell more cause they will hype it more thanks to their money, microsoft knows how to push a product, they will make it sell 10 million, just like halo did

The move has a more stable base of hardcore on the PS3. Microsoft has basically alienated the 360 hardcore for a casual group that it is up in the air whether they can pull in. $200 for the Kinect and the staggering bundle price (which I don't even want to think about) are an issue. If you already have a PS3 $99 is a small price to pay for a quality addition to your gameplay.

Ivote kinect, casuals don't care about price and it seems kinect will appeal to them.
