When I woke up this morning, I didn't want a 3DS. I was pretty content with the gaming platforms I have.

Now I want one. I want to see the 3D display and take 3D pictures. I want to enjoy whatever crazy experiences creative developers can craft with a 3D display. I'll probably keep using my phone for most gaming on the go, then boot up the 3DS when I get home.

What about you, do you want the 3DS now?

It will be interesting if/when they incorporate the 2 cameras into the front for Game Play.

I want one, with all the great reactions the 3D has been getting, I'm now certain the 3DS will be the way forward, both for developers and gamers.

I'm going to wait for the next revision of the hardware, when the screen is bigger. Until then I really want to test it out and see how well the images are shown.

I'm really more interested now, but thre's still a lot of things that we don't know... PRICE, for example.

The DS will likely top 150 million sale but the 3ds will surely top 200 million!

Yeah, that's a big unknown right now. Nintendo seems to have been testing the price waters with the DSi and DSi XL, to see if the DS can sustain sales even at a $200 price tag. So far it has, and I don't think the 3DS will cost less than that at launch. I don't think it'll go much higher than that, though. Maybe $230, but I don't think Nintendo wants to push $250 with it.

Interesting poll results. Nobody has dared to say that they don't want one, and nobody cites the whiz-bang 3D tech as the primary reason for wanting one.

I'm taking the seeing is believing approach.  I need to see how it looks in person and for me to be overwhelmed in order to buy one since it is well known that I abhor handhelds.  I'd rather read a book on the train.
