700k first month and 350k the following unless the new Arcade comes out earlier than expected.

Most of it will be in Americas and the X360 new model will account for the majority of extra sales instead of the price drops on the dying models.

Most of us upgrading will be selling our old systems.  These used systems go to new 360 customers.  Attach ratio will not be affected negatively very much if at all.


The used HW market is not as great as used SF.

You do realize that the 360 is already selling a bit more then 350k a month right?

Im sure it will have a slight boost for a while, but if any significant gains in hardware are achieved it will be because of  pricecuts to existng sku's or future pricecuts by Microsoft. Any gains from the new sku will be negligable imo.

Yeah I would have waited till Kinect came out during the holidays. They would of made a killing.

When PS3 slim was introduced. there was a price drop with it, which made the PS3 299$. That's why a lot was sold in the 1st month. Here the price is the same 299$ like the elite, with more capabilities. It will definitely increase sales, but not by much. And also, sales of PS3 were lowered after the 2nd months of the PS3 slim release. I bet the 360's sales will increase and stay the same (which is the new amount increased).

I believe they'll cut price when Kinect comes out. But as for now, it'll still be 299.99. Anyways,

OT : I'm predicting a 550 - 600 K First Month World Wide

750k first month. when supply of old units runs out they will either cut the price of slim to 199 or introduce a slim arcade (probably 120g hd and no wifi) or they  will cut slim to 199 and introduce elite slim for 299 that has bigger hd maybe 2 contollers and hd cords, with game possibly



Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)
