As the thread title denotes, I'm scared shitless worried about Sony's E3 conference tomorrow. Before I can divulge into the crucks of my fears, I need to mention Sony's conundrum last E3...
What's there to say? Pretty much every major announcement was leaked from Sony's conference a day/days before E3. Things were so bad that Sony even publicly acknowledged the PSP GO! as the "worst kept secret of E3." PS Move? Yeah, we knew about before Sony even opened their big yappers. How about the ps3 slim? Known days in advance... If you follow n4g at all, you should've known about LBP2 weeks before it's official release. How about Infamous 2 where Sony created a web domain thus letting the proverbial cat out of the bag before any official announcement? I think you get my point. Sony has leaky pipes and that's what we've all come to expect. So what happens when info has all but stagnated on the playstation side of things?
I'll tell you what, this time yesterday, (before the circus) we already knew the consumer name of project Natal, we knew details about Kinect games and we knew about the xbox slim (It wasn't even announced at the circus!!!). WTF?! This is just MS!!! IMO, Microsoft aren't even in the same ballpark as Sony when it comes to making secrets not so secret. If this happens to MS, than we should be swimming in a lake of Sony leakage goo! But we're only getting radio silence...
This is why I'm worried. I only see two possibilities when it comes to this situation...
1. Sony is now awesome at keeping secrets (and scaring me shitless)
or
2. Sony doesn't have any new stuff to announce... =(
I hope I'm proven wrong, but I think 2. is the most likely scenario. Because if Sony just plugs how everything is better in 3D for an hour, the conference could go down with the likes of...
