I dunno if it was the best game ever but it was the game, along with Heavy Rain, where i was most into the story! I was "really" feeling it! Ive never been as emotionaly invested in a game like in MGS 4 and HR! MGS4 was more than a game, it was an experience! An experience that i´ll always remember!

I'm not saying the cutscenes were bad, I agree that final scene in Act 3 was awesome (though a bit awkward too with Akiba..lol)..

But it was by far the weakest act in the game though.

And following the guy WAS fun...getting peed on by him is awesome...lol

I'm not saying the game was bad or anything...in fact I LOVED it...though not as much as the other MGS games....

Truth to be told, the less-awesomeness in comparison to other MGS games and GoW III's morre-awesomeness compared to GoW 1 & 2 made GoW tied with MGS as my favourite series.

Then I shall celebrate by actually playing the game.

False it's either 10 years old (Deus Ex) or 16 (X-Com), take your pick between the two.

I felt Act 3 was the weakest too, but when you have such perfect acts, a weak act is like a 9.99999999

happy BD MGS4... i love the game and also think is one of the best games ever... i think i will play it again some time soon... would be awesome to konami to do the HD treatment in the first 3 games and launch them in a BR disc for us to play it from the beginning to the end in the same machine!

It is my favorite game of all time, despite, obhectively, it has many problems that I just casually overlook :P

Yer same here, while playing it I forget about any flaws it has objectively.

One of the best of all time for sure, now if only it had trophies!

I remember it putting me to sleep...and when I woke up, Otacon was still crying like a baby.

The best part of the game is the live action intro sequences. The excercise one is mindblowingly creepy.
