Kojima Reminds Us He's a Strange Guy, Starts Countdown

Everybody loves countdowns! Put one up on the Internet and you'll have people questioning your motives for weeks, preferably making fools out of themselves on message boards in the process. Obviously Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima knows this, as the E3 page of his own website now contains such a cryptic countdown. Accompanying it is a collection of clips showcasing several objects being cut up. Why? Who knows! It's a cryptic Internet countdown, they rarely make sense!

But if you ask me, all of the fruit and whatnot being cut up is his way of hinting at a new, Kojima produced Cooking Mama game. If I'm going to dare to dream, I may as well dream big!

Regardless of the meaning behind this silly countdown, all will no doubt become clear this Tuesday. Be sure to tune into Xugo Gaming all next week to find out the answer to this mystery and more as we cover E3 2010!

Ha ha ha.  This would become the first 2 BD game in history! :D

They have the tech to increase the number of layers don't they ? And they'll probably compress some stuff and reduce the size of the game somehow...a long time has passed since June 2008.

I guess I have an idea....this is probably related to the metal gear series, I remeber in MGS4 there was a little girl (don't remeber her name), the daughter of Olga from MGS2, she tried too cook eggs many times during the story, with bad results...also she was always on the plane whatching things on the internet, this is probably what she what watching.... this could explain why so many cooking transmissions, there is also a cartoon, some documentaries about agricolture and wood craving, a video about breaking throught lockpicks (bottom-left), a video about hair-cutting.... The new game will probably involve her.

Or, those are just random things to get attention.

I think the slicing shown in this countdown is just a hint at how sliceful the gameplay of Rising will be.

Or maybe that Rising will be a hack and slash game.

We kinda know that already
