I highly doubt that those viral ads are for the PS4. If anything, Sony is probably advertising that PS3 plus 3D and whatever other services they have in store essentially equates to a PS4.

It's not really the PS4 but more of a "relaunch" of the PS3 like they had last year with the slim ,price drop,a new logo and such.

I thought that what's leo-j is implying. pS4 next wekk = New PS3 firmware (E3 release).

exactly.. this may be the reason they took OTHER OS out.. you see they tricked us, and all these game announcements are to distract us from the inevitable.. the playstation3's evolution into the playstation 4.

You see, they were planning to take OTHER OS out since the SLIM didn't have OTHER OS to begin with, and just used "security reasons" as an excuse..

taking out OTHER OS frees up an SPU and that right there is 10-15% of extra processing power.. this will allow 3D games to work.. not only that, but allow games that don't use 3D to have improved visuals more so than those seen in UNCHARTED 2 or GOD OF WAR III..

Rumors are circulating that the PS3 is getting an interface overhaul redo, and PSN plus is releasing at e3.

3D gaming is launching on Playstation 3, and PS move is also launching later this year..

so..

Playstation3 has evolved into Playstation4, or will do so this year.. and if sony rebrands it once again.. and bundles it with MOVE and pushes 3D like crazy (get a free ps4 with a sony bravia 3D TV) then its going to push an entire generation into the system. Imagine they launch early, without really launching.. PLAYSTATION 4 IS THERE TRUMP CARD =O

He said Sony will release the unused PS3 SPU plus another one used by the OS (?). I don't think he still talking about PS4, he's just saying PS3 will be more powerful next week because of these new rumored announcements coupled with a few theories from him.
