Game sold better than i expected. I'm having fun playing it with my gamefly copy but i will probably not buy this game.

Undertracked a bit and also overshipped a bit?

Why would this game overship though? Im not claiming all 5 million copies are sold to customers obviously, but what good reasons we have to believe it overshipped (xcept for VGC data of course)?

I mean the hype and reviews were far above what anyone could expect including Take-Two.

i dont want to stir up anything here because i know that alot of people consider this the GOTY so far. but am i the only one who found it very repetative? the story missions were almost the same actions to take but just with different agendas and characters, example

-go meet your contact

-travel to a destination with that contact

-have a  shootout, mission ends.

i know there were some with a difference like the races but it seems most were like the above?

im not saying it was a sh*t game because i enjoyed it i think the online is great fun and the whole environments good visually and beleivable. just found it repetative

That's great to here.  One of the best games I've played this year so glad to see many others are glad to see the makers are enjoying great success with the title.  

And yet, Rockstar will probably lose money in the fiscal year, right?

Actualy they didn't post a loss in the quarter financial where they revealed those numbers, so thats a plus I supose.

Edit: They also seemed to be disapointed at Bioshock 2's sales which is too bad because that was a great game imo.

It's always good to see great games get well deserved sales so far.

That's good to hear, I haven't played it myself, but i've only heard good things about it, so I'm glad a quality title is getting good sales.

Probably not, but you will find enough people who think the same about other genre's aswell...
