Honestly I'm happy with NSMB and Galaxy but I think that they shouldn't make another mario game for some time now...if ever they want to make another 2D platformer in the near future it should be Donkey Kong.

stop it with mario parties, stop it with baseball, soccer, basketball, golf, tennis, DANCING, olympics, and focus on pure:

-Racers

-RPGs

-Platformers (duhhh)

-Smash Bros

The Wii has not seen a Mario Golf and only a NPC re-release of GC Mario Tennis.

There has only been one Mario Party (compared to three for the N64 and four for the GC). 

And my guess is that Sluggers will not return next generation. And possibly not Strikers. 

In other words, Mario is returning to Mario games and highly successful spin-offs -- 2D platform, 3D platform, Kart and Smash Bros.

The more Mario games like Galaxy 1-2, MKWii, NSMBWii they release the better I'd say.

hopefully that doesn't mean they won't use every other character EXCEPT Mario in sports titles :P

I would still like another Mario Tennis, but please, bring back the unlockables.
