Forums - Sony Discussion - Buy Joe Danger or GTFO

richardhutnik said:

Sorry guys.  I have given up the belief that somehow myself buying a certain game will make all the difference in the world for an indie developer.  Games should stand on their own right.  Feel free to hype, but when someone tells me my choice is to buy or GTFO, well I guess I should GTFO and pretend the game doesn't exist.  Things are cheaper that way.

Wait, no demo for Joe Danger either?

Awww I'm heart broken now :'(

anywho OT: great game and even better news is that it broke even on it's release day itself...oneo f the best dl games of the year

Im kind of curious...

The game sold 50000 copies and only broke even.

At 15 bucks the game generated 750000 dollars on day 1. What is the Sony PSN/Publisher revenue split?

I mean, what kind of an independant publisher with 4 people has this kind of money to invest? Braid cost 200000 dollars and even that got a lot of attention for costing that much.

the picture also says: 100% x10  ROI

ROI= Return Of Investment, i wonder if that really means they made 10 times their money back

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I'm just posting because I saw the nice thread title:

I won't buy this game. I bought Planet Minigolf instead last week, next PSN purchase will be DeathSpank.
