i havent baught a used game in well i cant remeber, well to say the last game i baught was god of war 3, i realy dont have time this year to buy games, to much years 12 work to do, so at the end of the year my ps3 is going to work its ass offfffffff, let mee see, "Heavy rain, final fantasy 13, gran turismo 5, killzone 2,3, infmaous 1, 2 (id the k3 and i2 are relleased), little big planet, i still dont kno what that game is about (in australia EBgames lets you buy a game and you can return it after 7 days so ill test it out, if i like it ill keep it, ummm what else and allot of other games that are going to tickled my fancy, oh and also the new NAruto on ps3,and im i havent baught a game for my wii in around 8 months i think, so at the end of the year i my shoping spree i guess !! lol

New for current gen consoles. I have no choice but to buy used on older games I missed out on during the time they came out though.

i dont see whats wrong with buying used games. they work just as well as ne ones, and the second after you open the new one it becomes used.

Basicallt I buy them new for the same reason I don't pirate. I actually want to support the developer by giving them money, not swindling them out of it. Though, it seems piracy may have less of an afect on sales than even used games if some statistics from the US and Dutch governmens can be taken seriously, so an even better reason not to buy used.

i almost Always buy new, Once in a while I buy a used game, usually older games you can find anymore.

Most of my games I like to buy new. Most of my games are First Party, so I like to support Nintendo. Plus, if I buy it new, I can get Club Nintendo points. Those are not always garunteed with a used game.

yea just go for a used one, and btw gamestops warranty is 30 day defective and 7 days for exchange/refund

i think if the company wants to get the sale they will make it good enough so it wont be traded in, or offer an incentive, i work for gamestop and i never trade in my games, if i dont buy the used copy then someone else will and they will prbly trade it in but if i get it then they are forced to get the new one so whatevs really.

i stand by ea, and thq, offer something that u cant get by getting the used one and used new sales will not taper so fast.

I rarely buy games used. The only game from my wii library thats actually used is Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. I have been buying a lot of used games, but on PS2. All I buy is used 6th gen games since you can hardly find fresh copies. Although, when my local hollywood video was closing I did managed to find a fesh copy of Odin Sphere for a mere 8 bucks.

I only tend to buy used games if they are old or rare games that are difficult to find. Other than that, I always prefer to buy my games new.
