I really miss the colors in the sale tables. It was really easy to find games.

Understanding the US breakdown for the 360 to have a better tie ratio for a specific game they must outsell the PS3 version 1.66-1. Knowing that look at the chart again 

Red Dead Redemption with a 1.71 margin sold better on 360

But UFC with a margin of 1.42 sold better on the PS3

Blur 1.83 margin was a big surprise winner on 360 especially considering PS3 is typically a racing system even in America

Comparing Exclusives is fun too

Halo ODST 3.78 sold = 16.3% of 360 owners have this game

Forza 3 1.25 sold = 5.4% 

vs

God of War 3 1.54 = 11% of PS3 owners have this game

Uncharted 2 1.56 = 11.2% 

These numbers are interesting especially considering the significant boost ODST and Forzza have got from the elite bundle. 

Yes I know genres are different but an exclusive is still and exclusive.

The numbers are telling a strange story. On the surface 360 looks like a clear winner in the US. They are selling more consoles and have a better tie ratio for Blur and Red Dead Redemption. Yet when you look at the overall picture with a weekly sales margin of just 1.19-1 in favor of the 360 the PS3 is making significant gains in tie ratio. If this trend continues how long will it be before the console sales follow.

Hrm, Alan Wake not doing as I expected.  I'm predicting 1.2M lifetime for that game MAX.  Probably 900k realisically.  Who knows.

It still surprises me how much different the NA numbers for hardware are than Japan.  Wii and PS3 almost tied.  PSP doing well?  O_o

God of War III is at a very nice 50k Worldwide this week ! And that is the lowest since its launch 11 weeks ago ! Sexy legs imo after 2nd week drop.

Its only 20k away from overtaking UC2 in America with ZERO holiday boost...same cannot be said about "EMEAA" though...if Sony had marketed GoW 1 & 2 better in the region, we're looking at a comfortable 3 million plus WW right now instead of the 2.5 million.

I really hope legs remain constant at 30-40k until the holiday season (20-25k Americas, 10-15k Others)
