People acting like PS3 "exclusives" never made their way on the Xbox 360...
Hi @ Tekken Hi @ Final Fantasy XIII Hi @ Assassin's Creed Hi @ GTA IV Hi @ Devil May Cry IV Hi @ LA Noire
Look at the sales of Rockstar / Take Two games on 360... 800k for RDR in one week, outselling the PS3 version by more than 50%. GTA IV on 360 outselling the PS3 version by a decent margin as well.
3rd party exclusives doesn't make sense for any publisher with a userbase of 40 million on the rival platform. (excluding the Wii, it couldn't handle this game anyway)

Ohhh ok so you agree that Gears of war, Mass effect and All 3rd party 360 exclusives games should be on PS3 too right? they can't ignore 35m install base right?
|
Problem with your logics here is that all those games you mentioned are published by Microsoft so they never will go to PS3 as long as publishing rights are held so dont hold your breath on any of those. We are talking about 3rd party exclusives too and Gears of War and Mass Effect are 2nd party games. We are talking about Games like Tales of Vesperia, Magna Carta 2, Splinter Cell:Conviction, Metro 2033 etc.....

Nope, The other guy tried the same argument your giving me and failed why? because I asked him to explain me this...
Ninja gaiden 2 published by Microsoft yet there's a PS3 version out.
Maybe you would like to try and explain this to me? since the other dude couldn't?..... well?

Actually there is a Sigma version out. And this is the only time this happened in this industry. Ninja Gaiden still is a 360 exclusive and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a PS3 exclusive. MS has or had the publishing rights for Ninja Gaiden, but they did not own the IP (chracters etc) so this game made its way to the PS3.
Again, the only time this happened in this idustry. If you expect MS published games on PS3, you set yoursef up for a disappointment. Gears or Alan Wake won't be released on PS3, just like Heavy Rain won't be released on 360.

Thats what I said to the guy who expects Resistance and Ratchet to go multi he's gonna be disappointed because its owned by Sony.
Now for ME, Gears and Wake they could practially do a sigma or w/e they call it for ps3 because its not owned by MS, same for Heavy rain.
For ME2, Valve games etc, I dont see whats stoping it from becoming multiplat, these games are owned and published by 3rd party....
only reason I can think of is...
*Exclusive contract for ME series to be exclusive for a while(Bioshock,GTA DLC,Tales of Vesperia,SO4)
*Valve doesn't like working with PS3.
other than this reasons I dont see why it wont end up on PS3.
