Who cares? Honostly the console exclusive dickthump-fest is sad and tired. As an owner of all the major platforms I care jackshit about the exclusive nature of a title with the exception of new and fresh gameplay mechanices. I see those on Wii and PC all the time. As far as 360 or PS3 they are roughly equal, and as far as I'm concerned exclusives just limit the audience. I would love to see Halo on PS3, and God of War on 360. Now I know it won't happen, but I think it is bizarre to wish a game not to grace as many consoles as is feasible. Of course I realize that exclusives are inherent to the 1st party structure, but that deosn't mean I don't think it sucks. And yes I don't think multi-plats should be dumbed down. If you can get better graphics or AI on PC, PC3 or 360 be my guest. Non-exclusive doesn't mean that care shouldn't be given to each platform. But the artificial restrictions are silly, and not feasible for 3rd parties- this is pretty clear by the lack of these titles this gen.
I for one would love to see what Alan Wake would look like with the extra beef of the PC or (to a lesser extent) the PS3. By the same token I'm sure many a 360 fan would love to take a stroll in Siren, or Heavy Rain. For that matter imagine Super Mario Galaxy 2 with Move or Natal. Won't happened, but I would love it!
My point is that exclusives only provide ammo for the fanchildren, and are a pain in the ass to the mature, non single console obsessed gamers among us.
