Forums - Sony Discussion - Uncharted 2 to much climbing?

great game perfect balance i wish they could make action games with those controls they are incredibly intuitive, as an adventure game it was never a chore his animations looked so good i never got bored of him doing anything let alone climbing

Nope, it was perfect for me. Gamers are funny, they complained about not enough platforming in part 1, and now theres too much in part 2 lol

I'm sorry, did you just insult Uncharted 2! This is not allowed, the game was perfect

The best part was the way the climbing and gun play were mixed this time. I remember chapter 13, navigating through the environment, jumping around stealthly taking everyone down, and just generally moving around to get into good positions. The exploration platforming was also good, helping you build your relationship with Drake and just generally being quite fun. The game was amazing

no infamous is an example of to much climbing at least until you get your powers later in the game.  uncharted 2 is probably the most perfect game I have played this far, either that or ff6.  no they could squeeze more climbing in if anything.

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).

yes i agree i like U1 Sp more i made a thread about it

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=97989

with other reasons including the excessive platforming was just disappointing with its SP after all those perfect 10s it got and some quotes like "one of the best SP game ever"

hope they add more shooting elements in U3 as well as more enemies i liked the online co-op objective of U2 thats what i call game play they need to make U3 like U2 co op objective in terms of amount and types of enemies

John Marston speaks the truth!

Seriously people, there are currently no other platformer/shooters out on the market. Last gen was the same way in a sense, very few 3rd person shooters with a major platforming element.

This is Uncharted and this is why people love Uncharted. You cut out platforming and it ceases to become what it is...

If you want a tactical shooter, I suggest Gears.

i loved it i though it had a good balance and are playing my 3rd playthrough at the monent.

Nope, it's got a  good balance, I always thought the Tomb Raider games had way to much platforming and not nearly enough action. Which is why I loved uncharted! (I too liked the first one's SP better)

I like the climbing, at least in multiplayer. I really enjoyed the speed and movement of the game. Hopefully inFamous 2, which has to have multiplayer, can absolutely perfect it.

It's that or cover, shoot and wait...if it's better or not depends on your tastes.
