You won't get a very accurate response for questions 7/8, given that anybody frequenting the forums less or thinking of leaving the site (if they haven't already) will in all likelihood not see nor respond to this thread.  And I don't know if anybody else has noticed, but it seems like the frequency of posts is down considerably compared to earlier this week.  Well, except for in the 3.0 bitch threads lol.

I know of a few people that have decided to leave thanks to the more disjointed interface of 3.0.  I've talked to Ameratsu, SoulSamurai, and Killergran, and they're not big fans.  Ameratsu at least posted a few times, but the other two straight up stopped bothering with the forums.

Also, about question 2, I've only ever come here for the numbers and forums, mainly because that's all this site was back when I first joined (and that's why I joined it), and I find it's simply not as easy to access either of those items now.  Getting to a game's sales figures from gamrConnect is a pain in the ass, which makes discussing sales on the forums more troublesome.  Hell, searching for games at all from gamrconnect is impossible, best I can tell.  I had to go over to gamrReview to find Yoshi's Story and add it to my collection.  The ease of accessing everything has decreased considerably, and I find myself heading to other forums more than usual as a result.  Granted, I don't have sales at my fingertips on other sites, but at least I can find the latest news on the forums quicker.

The community has also taken a hit, given that a few of my good friends decided to leave the site over this.  =/

The way the forums are now implemented makes things more complicated, sales figures are a pain to get to from gamrConnect, and the community has lost valuable members.  Unless these three things are rectified (the first and second issues would theoretically solve the third if corrected), I think I'll be spending much less time on this website than I used to.
