Hot shit that sounds mega awesome.
In the meantime having a recent threads feature back for all gamrconnect pages would be nice
(and I have mentioned these elsewhere, but they may get buried... however only minor problems so no rush: coloured text option seems to have dissapeared. no right click for some features for some reason (reply and quote buttons)

1) How could reply and quote right-click since they are now popups?
2)Coloured text is removed to bring some kind of consistency.
3)Recent posts will be expanded into the sidebar soon but the basic functionality is right there under the recent posts item on the sidebar.

@1) I see, well in long threads like this I sometimes like to open a new tab to quote someone, then read the rest of the thread perhaps seeking others to quote... however as I said it's not a big problem and I will get used to it.
@2) Ok, makes sense.... still would be nice to have some way of highlighting text better than bold/underline... What about for example tables and charts? I haven't copied any from Excel into the new site yet, but before all the colour formatting dissapeared and I had to re-colour them in the rich text format box.... some information is made so much easier to understand with a bit of colour (usually to seperate the game platforms from each other)
Perhaps if it were possible to import coloured text from Excel it would be ok... not many would bother copying all their posts from somewhere else, so there would be consistancy, but colour could still be used for tables and such. If that is not possible (perhaps it's an excel problem that means the colour formatting dissapears) then being able to edit COLUMN properties would be a long needed substitution.
While I am here, I can't find the edit button on articles (nor the add news)... I wanted to see if coloured text is disabled there too as that's where it's most important to me... and I need to edit the most recent one (and some of the past ones) as the table is wider than the space now (that's not a complaint by the way, I don't wanna go back to widescreen even though I have a widescreen laptop now)
@3) I see that has been done that's much better.... I understand many changes will be made in the first week or so of 3.0 but given how many complained last time when the recent threads was taken down for 2.0 (for space reasons I believe) it was odd it was left out. It is an excellent and very useful feature.
