Alas, FFIX is not out on NA PSN this week... grrr I want to finally finish that game.

On the FF7 remake: I don't know how they would pull off the whole Wall Market part with FFXIII graphics. Cross-dressing, Honey-Bee Inn with the gay hottub gang bang and listening in on President Shinra, and Don Corneo's mansion? How would they even pull that off with more realistic graphics? Don't get me wrong, I'd still like to see a remake, but I find it difficult to see how they would adapt some things.

Part of FF7's charm is its cartoon humour which may never be replicated in an FF game again, so I think it's worth experiencing even if its graphics aren't so hot.

The graphics aren't that bad when it comes to environment. It's mainly the character models that look awful! They're so blocky, I don't even understand why they didn't make them nicer.

The main reasons why I personally would like a remake, is that after playing Crisis Core, I could imagine FF7 looking like it and it was a nice thought. Also, fanboys would get what they want and we can finally move on to something else.

I believe that FF9 is the only PS1 final fantasy to have aged well, mostly due to the art style(which I loved). It's kinda painful to look at ff7 nowadays and, well, I'm not sure how I feel about FF8 yet XD
