The voice actor of Bill is Jim French. I found out he has a website ( www.jimfrenchproductions.com ), and it has a message board. So I decided to ask there directly to finally get the truth about why Bill had no new lines in Crash Course and why he was killed off in L4D2.

I did not get an answer to why he provided no new lines for the DLCs, but I got something even better!!!! From his website's blog:

WHAT?!!! I guess it's really not that surprising Valve is already working on L4D3. But the fact that Bill is obviously a huge part of it??!!!! Is this some kind of prequel? Did Bill somehow not really die in The Passing? (maybe he was just napping near that generator)

And before someone tries to say this is not true because the blog wrote "Left For Dead" instead of "Left 4 Dead", you're an idiot. These people on JimFrenchProductions are NOT gamers. (remember even Stephen Colbert made the same spelling mistake when he showed a clip of the game on his show) If you verbally say the game's title to someone how doesn't already know how it is spelled, they will assume it's "Left For Dead" instead of "Left 4 Dead".

And for people who try to say it's just DLC and not L4D3... 27 PAGES of dialogue is NOT DLC.

It could be L4D3 or it could be the audio for the Comic, but then explain this...

Isn't L4D on 360 being published by EA? That could explain the reason why there is a new L4D every year.

If there is a new L4D, Im happy. L4D2 is getting boring, sure the passing is great but it takes Valve a LONG time to make DLC, i mean a really long time, they need to release it every 2-3 months not 6-12 months.

Valve are in the EA Partners thingy, so they have total control over their games, EA "just" publishes.

On one hand, I find it odd that Valve would milk the IP, but as long as the quality is there, then why not. If anything, Call of Duty has shown that multiplayer games can afford to be milked, and still rake in the sales.

And yeah, Valve are taking too long to bring out DLC.

Oh well, they're still doing Portal 2, so I'm not complaining!

Valve doesn't need the money thats for sure, so i have no idea why they're milking it.... Meh, like you said, as long as their is quality ill be buying it.

Portal 2 will have the same developement time as GT5 LOL!

L4d2 is awesome but give it a rest! Give us Half Life Episode 3!!!!
