This week RDR dropped and contributed 300k more to 360 software sales than it did to PS3, and this was also the week that Alan Wake sales will be at their peak. 360 edged PS3 in software sales this week, reversing the recent trend.

Next week looks pretty quiet in terms of releases, though MNR will see its peak sales next week.

Sales predictions?  Which games are going to display teh legs?

I'd expect PS3 SW sales to be ahead of Xbox 360 sales again this week. The RDR sales gap should close significantly, partially because sales will fall, but also because there were some serious issues with PS3 RDR shipments in Europe (I know I had to call up about 20 shops to find one with a copy for PS3). Alan Wake should also fall, while I'd expect MNR to rise a bit (though probably not all that much). I think it will be reasonably close though, less than 100-150k.

it's going to depend on whether Blur does the same on both HD platforms or does significantly better on one....

I can't help but mentioning that according to NPD PS3 software sales in NA were overtracked. Just saying.

Oho!  360 remains on top this week! That's 2 weeks in a row.  Will this be a back and forth battle?  Will 360 resume regularly outselling PS3 in sofware?  Will PS3 make a comeback next week?   New thread inbound.
