You don't really need to play phantom hourglass to get into spirit tracks. Spirit tracks is the better game out of the two so get that one

Monster Hunter Tri

Name: Silver

ID: 94BRVX

Darkheart is correct about not needing one to play the other. Phantom Hourglass is the superior Zelda game though. Taking out the exploration angle really killed the game for me. It is at the heart of what I want a Zelda to be. Others may disagree though.

Starcraft 2 ID: Gnizmo 229

They're pretty similar, but the train > the boat - so get Spirit Tracks.

Spirit Tracks for sure!

theri both pretty similar but Id have to say Phantom Hourglass, not only is it MUCH FUNNIER then then Spirit Tracks but you can battle online, which is impossible with Spirit Tracks

buy both, best handheld DS games in my opinion. Fuck the haters.

The only thing Hourglass really has going for it over Spirit Tracks is that i felt the boat was superior to the train.

Otherwise, Spirit Tracks has a better story (best Zelda character development... ever, really), Spirit Tracks has more memorable bosses (though i'd give the edge on the final boss set to Hourglass), and Spirit Tracks lacks the time limit crap that was so ruinous to Hourglass. Though Spirit Tracks has the death trains, which are annoying as fuck in their own right.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Spirit Track has better bosses, but Phantom Hourglass has better exploration and overworld play. I say PH for now, but play them both, these are some of the best Zelda games ever made.
