I too have stopped going to other sites for this reason, and I will stop coming here as well. It's loud and annoying. If they were about 1/3 of the volume, they'd be tolerable, but I'm listening to podcasts or music or watching TV and I literally CAN'T browse this site while doing so unless I turn off all the sound on the computer.

Well I'm sure the advertisers love that multiple commercials are playing at the same time.

what if you have itunes on & your listening to music too?
Thx for making this thread! This is the 1st time the adds have really bothered me and they are pretty bad this time. And for those that are just saying to mute your PC, some ppl play music while surfing the web and also its kinda hard to watch and listen to a video embed on a thread when 2 ads are running with audio as well...
