I just got my PS3 on April 30th so I don't have much games yet. Currently I have:

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Little Big Planet

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Valkyria Chronicles

and I just picked up Red Dead Redemption a couple days ago.

How am I doing so far? I really want a RPG but can't figure out which one. (Not FFXIII) White Knight Chronicles looks good to be though despite the reviews. I have to wait until I get more money though.

What else do you recommend I get? I am planning on getting the obvious ones like Uncharted 2.

Strongly lacking in the "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" department.

Other than that I think you SHOULD in fact pick up FFXIII. and get U2 once you finish the first one.

GTAIV, Killzone 2, and Modern Warfare 2 come after lol.

I decided not to touch MGS4 yet because I haven't played any MGS game and I heard the story plays a big role.

My brother has FFXIII on 360 so if I ever really wanted to play it I could play it there.

Finished Uncharted 1 and currently getting Platinum on it which shouldn't take much longer so I plan to get the second one soon after I get money.

I don't really plan on getting GTAIV now that I got Red Dead Redemption. I do plan on getting Killzone 2 but not Modern Warfare 2. I'm probably just going to wait for Black Ops for my next CoD game.

Demon's Soul is a must have
You're doing the right thing on MGS4 if you don't have any interest on the series is better to skip it.

yes WKC is a great game i also recommend Demon's Souls.
and Resonance of Fate if you like an JRPG that doesn't take itself seriously at most times. also ToV if you can understand japanese.

Oblivion Obviously.

And inFamous.

Why not FFXIII? MGS4 and GOW3 is a must have for PS3. Also try KZ2 before KZ3 comes. Resistance and Infamous is also great games.

Okay I had Demons Souls and inFamous on my list. I will also add Oblivion because it is pretty cheap now.

I have no interest in God of War so I am not looking into GoW3.
