Yup! Just played it yesterday and Damn! I sucked yesterday. That's what I get for playing it after 5 mos. without playing it. You won't have to worry because there are still lots of players playing online.

I never really played it much at all online (SP was generic/lacking/predictable), but BF:BC2 pretty much killed any hope of me playing it again - the game feels like what KZ2 should've been. I think it's the large maps that do it for me.....prevents spam/clutter/etcetc.

KZ2 is a good game if you're into it (don't bother with the SP, really...), but it doesn't really feel unique.

What?!!? There's not much out there that shares the feel of Killzone 2.

OT: I check out the mp here and there, but I find myself on the single player a lot recently. Beating all difficulties.

Some of the classes were definitely inspired by TF2, though it was pretty cool to see them in a game that doesn't play like UT (super fast with emphasis on jumping).

Honestly though like I mentioned, was BC2 that did it for me - the game has a weighted feel similar to KZ2, but alot less frustrating (for me at least), and the guns all feel amazing also like KZ2's.....recoil, weighted, awesome sound/feel.

The main difference are the maps. KZ2 is so full of small corridors. Putting a dual-grenade perk in the game was a horrible idea. Though the game supports 32 players, with BC2 being 24, KZ2 really feels like it was designed for battles with less than 24 players. This was a little disappointing since the 16v16 battles were part of what caught my attention. I ended up getting Warhawk (also 16v16) sometime after KZ2  and found myself playing that more.

I will admit though, KZ2 does play well in 12-18 player battles similar to CoD, except that it plays nothing like CoD making it somewhat unique in that situation.
