I forgot about LBP2...that comes this year?

And I'm not really counting Move games in this. Simply because it's a wildcard I dont really understand. Maybe they release like 20 Move mini game collections or something...I dont know. There's no clarity for me of Move's game release schedule.

GoW III has already reached 1.5 million in America...and it sold nearly 50k this week. And GT5 will most definitely sell more that 1.5 million.

You're forgetting LBP 2 as well.

As of now, Between God of War III, MAG, MLB 10: The Show and Heavy Rain 3 million has been sold. I recon reach will do about 5 million in 2010.

So its most probably not gonna happen.

It could happen, depending on when/if GT5 comes out this year

Looking at the "big titles" so far GOW has sold 1.5 million, MAG has sold 500k, Heavy rain 540k so sitting at about 2.54 million thus far (for those 3 games in the Americas only).  I think MNR will sell fairly well, so if GT5 gets a street date at the beginning of December than maybe Reach will outsell the PS3 exclusives for the year, if GT5 gets a street date in September or earlier I'd say no chance in hell :)

the exclusives that are already released are at about 3million now and I don't expect Reach to do much more than 6 million this year in americas

6+month worth of sales for them + GT5, LBP2, MNR and Socom 4 really should be able to top that imho

Also lol at your face, sorry but Gran Turismo will probably sell 10m WW. After looking at it closer I see Gran Turismo selling 3m in America, 5.5m in Others, and 1m in Japan LTD. But about 6m by the end of 2010. 2m in America, 3.5m in Others, and 0.5m in Japan.

I think Halo Reach will sell more than Gran Turismo 5 but less than Halo 3, I'm sorry to say I don't see it selling as much as the main series games.

What does worldwide have to do with this? And remember, this is only in 2010. GT5P only sold ~200k it's first month in America.

GT5P is to ODST as GT5 is to Reach, both are just fillers compared to the big guns.

I still think GT5 will sell 2m in America by the end of the year, and Halo Reach will sell about 4m in America before the end of the year. Add God of War 3's 2m in America, Heavy Rain's 1m in America, MAG's 0.75m in America, MNR's 0.5m in America. The unpredictable sales of LBP2, Resistance 3 which will likely be announce at E3 for a fall release could sell about 0.5m in America all just by the end of the year.

I think its still too early to tell but with those games alone PS3 exclusives have 6.75+ million (not including LBP 2) and Halo Reach has 4+ million.

It just seems like too far of a stretch. Good question btw.

GT5P was a Demo.

I dont think it will happen but who know to many variables. After E3 ii think we will all have a better idea of how things will go down.

I don't think anyone expects GT5 to do the same kind of numbers as GoW3, the game has a much bigger appeal and will not be rated mature like GoW3.
I think it's a given that GT5 will move more than 2 million copies in the US this year if it releases no later than November...
