3 FF's, 1 Blu Ray disc, a bunch of additional content (developer inteviews, concept art etc), some digital enhancement of graphics and sound, trophy support.

Or has putting them on PSN (VII and VIII world wide) basically meant any such opportunity is lost?

Digitally enhanced & trophy support gotta get a few punters interested though.

Wow, I wonder how much time it would take to finish those 3 games back to back.
It would be really cool, although I probably wouldn't buy it.

They look too dated, they won't be released at retail with PS1 graphics.

I think FFX and FFXII is a good shout for something like this though, especially as VII / VIII / IX have now all been released on PSN.

Probably pre occupy me till about September-October time if I tried to do every little sidequest with a proper guide

Quite frankly, I couldn't understand why Sony was not including the whole GoW trilogy in a single bluray. But then I saw how well "Collection" sold, even at full price.

or how about SE does NO MORE FF remakes and does new or revival of old non FF IP's. There is absolutely no reason for SE to remake any FF past 7

Why not a Blu-Ray Disc with:

- Final Fantasy
- Final Fantasy II
- Final Fantasy III
- Final Fantasy IV
- Final Fantasy V
- Final Fantasy VI
- Final Fantasy VII
- Final Fantasy VIII
- Final Fantasy IX
- Final Fantasy X
- Final Fantasy X-2
- Final Fantasy XI
- Final Fantasy XII
- Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus

All with uncompressed audio and 720P support

There'll still be a lot of free space on the Blu-Ray after putting all that in it :P (it will be way less than 50GB, I think it will be 30 at most but just because of the uncompressed audio :P)
Of course, keeping the original graphics the same as they were in the original version of the games ;)

Oh, and trophy support too :P
