Is Naruto ultimate ninja storm for the ps3 any good? I have naruto rise of a ninja and naruto broken bond but they were ok. So is ultimate ninja storm better? Also will ultimate ninja strom 2 be lead developed on PS3?

Apart from one fact I found it to be a great game

The visuals are AMAZING! really nice art style...combat is fine...follows the story line nicely

Problem: Had a lot of roaming to do in order to move on to the next stage of the story, like go find the ingredients etc to make this etc. It can be a bit annoying...so yeah...apart from that it's KICK ASS, give it a try since you can get it for dirt cheap now

Naruto UNS is very good, there is only ONE problem, no online. That is almost unacceptable this for me this generation.

also how is the story? Are there a lot of cool moments? Does it actually follow the episodes really well? How does this game's story compare to the story on rise of a ninja and broken bonds? Also i heard this game will go all the way up the 135 episodes so how long is the game? I never bought a ultimate ninja game so i was just wondering

My 11-year old and 13-year old sons play it and really like it. They are both really into the whole Naruto thing (books, TV show).

My impressions of having occasionally watched them play it:

Graphics look good (as good as the animated TV series, so what more can you ask for?)

Story mode looks a bit monotonous, in fact I don't even know idf there really is a story to it, it just seems to be a bunch of unrelated missions each designed to help Naruto train, but I haven't seen a lot of it to get a sense of whether there is a coherent story. But it seems to have some fun and quirky bits to it, and some of the challenges are pretty difficult to get the bonus elements, so it's got a bit of replay value if you want to totally clock the game. The boss fights usually have a number of QTEs so you need to be at least OK with QTEs for the game to be worth getting.

Fighting looks pretty fun with relatively simple controls, but not too simple. With the support character feature of the fighting mode it adds to the variation. Each character has their signature style and moves so there is tons of variety in the fighting. 2-player fighting would be fun for well matched players. The good thing about the fighting challenges in story mode is that you don't have to fight as Naruto, so you can pick your favourite characters. My 13-year old likes to use the man in the green jumpsuit with the bowl cut hairstyle. His ultimate Jiutsu move is pretty funny.

The game seems to have done a really good job of capturing the personalities of the characters, and I assume they use the same voice actors from the (English translated) TV series.

Not sure if it's worth the full price. But it doesn't matter for us because we picked it up used off Trademe (which is our equivalent of eBay). It didn't come with the game manual, but that didn't seem to cause any problems with getting the hang of the game.

I think the Metascore is probably a fair reflection of the worth of the game. Though my sons would probably give it a higher score, but what do you expect from 11 and 13-year olds?

Looks like a really good game.
Couldn't answer your first question since I don't have the console to play it, but whether or not it's lead developed on the PS3 is irrelevant considering that it does look better than the first game.
I hope they have online...or even Co-Op *fingers crossed* if so, I'll see you fools on the battlefield.

Hmm, as a naruto fan, Ultimate Ninja Storm is really good, probably one of the best Naruto games ever made, with the wii naruto game being my second favorite. The only problem i have with UNS is the counter system, It's ridiculous all you gotta do is spam the R2 to counter.
There are times when me and my nephew just fight and spam the crap outta R2 and who ever countered the most usually wins.

Hopefully they change that in UNS 2 if not i wont buy it.

Oh, Btw the game story is based on the Original naruto (Not shippuden) It kicks off from naruto Season 1 all the way till the end of Sasuke Retrieval Arc.

but does the game actually present the story well?

No, no, no, NO

The graphics are incredible and the general gameplay is fun, they just make you do horrible story missions that aren't fun. Unless you think taking 5,000 steps or other horribly monotonous tasks just to play the game is fun, stay away from the game.

The shitty mission based stuff is just shitty.  You really want to just play the game and get through the story but they make you do just stupid tasks like break 1000 physics objects first.  It just couldn't be much worse which is a shame because the game could be really good.
