I've been saving money to buy a PS3 lately but due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm forced to move to New Zealand.

I've been told that PS3s are Region free so it shouldn't be hard moving around when I go back home but I have a PSP-2004 and I was wondering if it can connect with whatever area PS3s are sold in New Zealand.

Can any Kiwis help?
